Tejanos collaborate to say…’Don’t Worry Be Happy’ [VIDEO]

Tejano and Conjunto Artists come together for an upcoming collaboration set to be released at the end of October.  Art Tigerina , Neto Gutierrez, Rick Balderrama, Savannah Votion, Los Badd Boyz Del Valle, David Farias, Eric Avalos and Ruben Ramos team up to bring you an upbeat song everyone can relate to! The popular 1988 tune, originally recorded by Bobby McFerrin, ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ will have fans dancing like nobody’s watching.

Eric Avalos of Chavalos Music Inc., gave special thanks to accordion player,  Mr. Frankie Caballero for joining the musicians on this track.

Lead singer Monica Trevino of Siempre Selena, performs to a packed house at the Aztec Theater in San Antonio, TX.

The band was in San Antonio last Sunday for the 2018 Independencia Festival to celebrate Mexican Independence Day.

‘Legacy of Love’ Official Trailer

‘Legacy of Love’ is a film project that follows a Mexican-American family growing up in the 1930’s in South Texas. The opening scene takes place in the small town of Tivoli, Texas on August 4, 2018.  The two brothers, Gonzalo and Juan Cervantes, talk about their late father Domingo G. Cervantes, who was born on August 4, 1903.

The ironic thing is, the director had no idea it was Domingo’s birthday.

Residing in the great state Texas, Mingo Mariano was destined to be an On Air Personality. He received his start in Corpus Christi in 1998 with KNDA 102.9 La Ley De La Musica de Tejas! (A Division of Guerra Communications). During his time at KNDA, Mingo had the opportunity to hone his skills and created a large following of listeners in the Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. After taking a long break from the radio industry, he decided it was time to come back to an industry he loves! Mingo now calls San Antonio, Texas home and was quoted as saying “Tejano Music is in my blood!” Today, Mingo is a Tejano Nation TV Correspondent in addition to several radio affiliates in the USA and Mexico.
